This is to present the PBL (problem based learning) method if someone doesn´t recognize it. A case is presented by the teacher and the students start to work with it. Usually the group of about 7 students/group meet five times and have about a month time for there work. First of all there is some brainstorming, after that diskussions and between the meetings the students search for information and they study different questions more profoundly.

Theres systemising of information, discussing cases from different angels using different sources and theories. These have to be áccompanied with more practical exampels combining theory and practice fluently as a result for understanding and development within each student.

  3. Hello! Well depending on the starting point it could be a wide range of different problems or cases to solve. The level and the depth or the variety of information the students learn be working this way can be very different. It´s an active way of learning : )

  7. Hello Sheila

Good to see that you are using PBL. I use it with my students also, and find it a very good method to support learning.

I have enjoyed seeing your photos and hearing your ideas. You have also made good comments and asked good questions on other people's blogs.

    All the best

    Susanne
